The only event of its kind on Kauai takes place on July 26, 2025!
The annual Hanalei Bay Swim Challenge consists of five fun and competitive races: ages 8 & under, ages 9-12, 1000 meters, 3000 meters, and 1000-meter mask & fin (no snorkels).

9:20 am 3000 meter swim; max time to complete: 1 hour 30 minutes

9:30 am 1000 meter Mask and Fin swim (only division where a swimmer is allowed to wear fins; NO snorkels).Awards
